AnkitaGarg: Samsung Galaxy S23 series will have faster storage and the ability to record better quality videos. As every year, the 2023 Samsung flagship series is expected to arrive in February. Even though the event is not yet confirmed, certain details have been made public online. We have all the latest information about the Samsung Galaxy S23.
Ice Universe, a reliable tipter, claims that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Series will allow you to record videos at 8K resolution. It is similar to the feature available in the previous model. The Ultra model was the only one that had this feature, while the Pro model and the standard versions both have support for 4K 60fps. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from last year can record 8K video at 24fps. This new version is capable of shooting in 30fps.
Samsung is expected offer better storage options with support for higher resolution video. These videos will consume more space. The Galaxy S23 Ultra could have 256GB base storage. This will be a major upgrade to the Galaxy S22 Ultra which had 128GB of base storage.
It will also feature the latest UFS4.0 storage version. This should improve read- and write speed. Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This means that you can expect smoother performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 won’t be able charge at speeds faster than that of the older model. According to leaks, the company will support only 25W wired charging as well as 10W wireless charging. Samsung’s flagship smartphones still offer faster charging speeds and come with an 80W fast charge. If the company does not want to provide a fast charger in the box, they should be able to supply at least 65W. This will allow people to purchase fast chargers that can quickly top-up their phone’s battery.
Due to the compact design of the Samsung Galaxy S23, the standard model might offer a smaller battery. As per leaks, the original Galaxy S22 has a 3,700mAh internal battery. The new version could be equipped with a 3900mAh unit. This battery is very small and will go out quicker. Even with moderate use, the Galaxy S22’s battery can be very short and users will need to have a backup power source whenever they travel. A battery problem will affect those who want a smaller smartphone. Samsung phones need to be optimized for longer battery life. Samsung’s One UI software and the flagship chipset squeeze more juice out of their batteries.
