Nvidia unveiled the Geforce RTX4070T graphics card Monday at CES 2023. The GPU is equipped with 12GB of memory, and it was made using TSMC’s 4nm process. This is the third card based upon the Ada Lovelace architecture Nvidia announced in September 2022 for RTX40 series cards.
Nvidia Geforce RadX 4090 and Geforce RadX 4080 are two other cards based upon the Ada Lovelace architecture.
Nvidia Geforce RTX4070T Ti specifications and features
It sounds fresh, but the Nvidia Geforce Radeon RTX 4070Ti is only the 4080 12GB model. Nvidia’s RTX 4080 was released in September in two versions, a 16GB VRAM and a 12-GB VRAM. The models were quite different, and buyers became confused.
Nvidia has now ‘unlaunched’ a GPU model, the RTX4080 12GB model, for the first time. The RTX 4070T Ti, the same model, was displayed at CES.
Geforce RTX 4070Ti uses the Ada Lovelace architecture. The GPU features Ray Tracing and DLSS 3 video encoding support for streaming.
Nvidia compared the 4070 Ti to the RTX 3090Ti in 3D rendering. However, it is 15 percent faster than RTX 3090Ti. The 4070 Ti boasts a better gaming experience than RTX3080, and it doesn’t consume much power.
According to the specifications of the RTX4070T, it has 7680 CUDA Cores as well as 12GB of GDDR6XVRAM. It comes with a boost clock speed of 2.61 GHz as well as a base speed of 2.31 GHz. It boasts a 192-bit interface as well as 4th gen Tensor Cors and 3rd generation Ray Tracing cores.
The GPU supports PCIe Gen 4 with a maximum resolution support of 4K 240Hz and 8K 60Hz. It supports up to 4 monitors and is VR-ready.
Nvidia Geforce 4070 Ti price, India release date
Nvidia kept the RTX4070Ti’s starting price at Rs 80,000 in India. The US price is $799. That roughly equals Rs 66,200. The GPU will become available globally on January 5th.
Nvidia has decided not to sell a Founder’s Edition card this time. However, third-party companies like Asus and Gigabyte will sell the GPU.
