Congress leader Rahul Ghandi on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 accused the Bharatiya Janata Party to spreading fear and hate in the country. However, he stated that India stood for “brotherhood,” unity and respect, which is why his Bharat Jody Yatra was so successful.
Before starting the Yatra’s Punjab leg in Punjab, Mr. Gandhi addressed the people at Sirhind.
“A climate of hate has been created in the country. “The RSS and BJP people are dividing our country, putting one faith against the next… And they have spoiled our atmosphere,” he claimed.
He said that we felt the country should show love, unity, and brotherhood.
The Congress leader stated that the Yatra had received a huge public response. This got better as the Yatra crossed over from one state to another.
“There is a cause for this – hatred, fear, violence being propagated by the BJP People, it isn’t the country’s way nor its history. This country is one of brotherhood and unity. It also values respect. He said that this Yatra has been successful because of this.
Mr. Gandhi claimed that he learned much from speaking to small shopkeepers and labourers during the yatra.
Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, chief Punjab Congress, Leader Of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa. Haryana Congress chief Bhupinder Singh Singh Hooda, ex-chief minister Charanjit Singh Chaanni, and others accompanied Mr. Gandhi during the Yatra.
The Gandhi scion paid earlier obeisance to Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib, before the start the Punjab leg of the Bharat Javatra .
The man wore a turban to worship and a half-sleeved shirt.
