England and Pakistan hosted the third Test match. Harry Brook scored his third century as England closed in on Pakistan’s first innings total, 304/10. England have an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series. They are now looking to sweep the hosts.
Brooks hit Mohammad Wasim Jr.’s fifth pitch towards deep mid-wicket, and he ran two runs with Captain Ben Stokes in the 33rd Over of England’s opening innings. Brooks and Stokes attempted to get a third run. However, Brook turned his back on the incoming ball towards the bowler’s side and returned to his crease. Stokes was out after he ran towards the striker.

Pakistan has lost both matches of the series despite playing in their home environment. They lost the first test by 74 runs, and lost the second by 26 runs. Pakistan’s chances of qualifying at the World Test Championship (WTC), 2021-23, have been further diminished by these two losses. They have fallen to No. 6 in the standings to qualify for the coveted WTC final.

This includes three hundreds and one fifty-thousand runs. Babar Azam of Pakistan is the second highest run-getter, with 294 runs scored in just three matches at an impressive average of 58.80. Abrar Ahmed from Pakistan, a young bowler has taken 13 wickets.
